Imagine you're alive during the Middle Ages. Wars and diseases like the plague are everywhere. Everyday life is hard for everyone except kings, and even they don't have it easy, with all those wars going on. In those times you were probably a warrior, a member of a religious order, or a peasant toiling in the fields.
