The Middle Creek Affair

This book is a revised and renamed edition of 'Entrenched Beliefs'.  Richard West is sent to Middle Creek to investigate a complaint of a sexual nature.. He finds an IRA bomber and a strange priest leading a secret life, a twelve year old believes her internet boyfriend is seventeen, and a dark secret about a pupil who disappeared while on a Pony Trek three months before. In investigating a school principal's concerns about a six year old and her father, Richard finds the authorities guilty of manufacturing evidence. He is drawn into an historical revenge attack. As the deluded Master Bomber seeks to destroy the priest Richard and his family are endangered. Richard has to save the vicar, and later, his family from the bomber's atatcks.
