In Charleston, West Virginia, Sahara is one of the few humans who know about The Echo, a veil that hides all things mythical from the human world. Angels, Demons, and Vampires are the least of her problems. The problem is, the farther she tries to keep her distance from them, the harder they seem to pull her back in. She would much rather be left to her own vices: artifact hunting, drinking and smoking, and a little sheet thumping from time to time. She couldn't care less about the world's problems, either of them.

But when Amber Alerts start to appear on her phone from both sides of the echo, her conscience gets the better of her, and she gets involved, kicking, screaming, and complaining at every single chance.

Now she is involved in a cat-and-mouse game with something far more deadly than she could of ever counted on, and the only people she can rely on are an unlikely set of allies: The Devil, a High Demon, and a Fallen Angel...
