Mindless
Great read, kept my attention and storyline was easy to follow. Loved the characters
Great YA read even for adults!
If you like suspenseful adventure starring strong, flawed--but ultimately empowered--heroines like Buffy or Katniss (sorry, Bella!), check out The Mind Readers. Can't wait for the sequel!
Fascinating - 3.5 Stars
This review may contain a few spoilers.
The book literally starts off, "“The man sitting across from me at the café was thinking about murdering his wife.”
Like who wouldn't be surprised and captivated by that!? So once I saw that first sentence I had to continue reading.
Now, why the 3.5? Well, I just thought Cameron was very, and I mean VERY stupid! Like, who goes running off with a guy you don't know? Especially when he's always known exactly who you are? Like just no, I get the situation with her family, but come on!!!!! You're a mind reader, who cannot read his mind. Yes, I know she can't read her grandmas mind either, but obviously something really bad happened to her dad that her grandma wanted to protect her. Although, that being said, I do believe that her grandma should have told her what happened.
All in all, the book was written well, and the twists and suspension were very cool!
Despite the rating, I do want to continue the series.
