The Mirage

THE MIRAGE is a part-experiential fictional tale set in contemporary Dubai, a city which has been in news a lot for its starry rise as a global city. Not many know that expatriates from almost 110 countries comprise 85% of Dubai’s population. These varied individuals have contrasting backgrounds, distinct behaviors and divergent reasons to be in Dubai. THE MIRAGE is an attempt to explore the human angle in the motley of individuals from disparate countries.

The book is broadly divided into 3 parts:
PART 1 (called THE BEGINNING) introduces the characters, delineates their reasons to be in Dubai and builds upon the plot.
PART 2 (called MIRAGE) leads to a culmination of relationships between various characters.
PART 3 (called REALITY) reveals the “true” nature of the relationships and the climax of each.All characters are directly or indirectly linked. THE MIRAGE, as the title suggests, looks into each relationship from close quarters only to find the reality looking so different from what it seem.
