Publisher Description
Will the magic of Christmas bring these two newlyweds closer together, or will the ghosts of the past lead them into a destructive discovery from which not even a Dickens’s Christmas can save them?
Mistletoe is beautiful and dangerous, much like the woman from Lord Frederick’s Percy’s past, so when he turns over a new leaf and arranges to marry for his estate, instead of his heart, he never expects the wrong bride to be the right choice. Gracelynn Ferguson never expected to take her elder sister’s place as a Christmas bride, but when she’s thrust into the choice, she will trust in her faithful novels and overactive imagination to help her not only win Frederick’s heart but also to solve the murder mystery of Havensbrook Hall before the ghosts from Frederick’s past ruin her fairytale future.

The Mistletoe Countess
A very engaging and entertaining story. Also very insightful on self forgiveness and forgiveness of others. Thoroughly enjoyable. My first to read from this author but it will not be my last!
Delightful
This book was a delightful read. I loved all of the book references throughout, as one of the main characters was an avid reader. There was mystery and laughter and a whole lot of fun. This author is very talented and truly brought the story and characters to life.
Wonderful story!
God has given you a life, and you’re the only one who can decide how to write it.
Frederick Percy is the Earl of Astley, Lord of Havensbrooke. Unfortunately the estate has seen much better days, and now he has no choice but to marry for money. Circumstances force him to take the lovely red-haired Gracelynn Ferguson as his bride. He’d never have chosen Grace, but God knew what he’d needed.
The author has done a fabulous job of giving us characters that will not soon be forgotten. Grace is just such a character - one that causes you to shake your head and laugh, wondering what she will get into next. Ready or not, she was now the Countess of Havensbrooke, but would the estate survive Gracelynn?
Oh my gosh, I absolutely love this book and wish there were more than 5 stars to be given. This copy was received through Barbour Publishing and NetGalley. These impressions and comments are my own and were in no way solicited.
