Can she free his heart from the demons that plague him, or will his fears keep him from loving again?
Following the deaths of her sister and brother-in-law, Kaya Brehna is awarded custody of their three children, and to avoid financial ruin, she must move them to Palm Beach where her successful career in interior decorating can provide financial security. Her plans are, however, thwarted by New Hampshire business mogul, Bryce Fontaine, who is determined to keep his godchildren in Granite Falls at all costs—even emotional blackmail.
Ever since he lost his own family five years earlier, Bryce Fontaine has been a tormented soul. His godchildren are the closest thing to family he has, and he’ll be damned before he let some corporate ladder-climbing stranger take them away from him.
Can Bryce and Kaya find a way to work together for the good of the children whom they both love, while simultaneously heal the pain in each other’s heart?
The mogul’s reluctant bride
Great story. Loved the characters and the steamy love scenes.
A dream come true...
I waited for this story and finally it came. And I was not disappointed!! Ms. Ross does it again! I was so intrigued by how the marriage between Bryce and Kaya would play out. They were from two totally different worlds but I was glad to see how Kaya find inner peace and happiness which she apparently did not have growing up. And though it seemed that Bryce had everything that he could possibly want except someone to share himself with fully. Bryce had lost just as much as Kaya however, differently. He was unpretentious in his wealth as Kaya was proud in her trek for success. Kaya tried to fill her void with a useless man and Bryce tried to fill his with the love of his godchildren. Funny how one could provide for the other what was missing in their lives. The children were a common love between them and served as a catalyst to bring them together. Though I believe Kaya's sister worked it from the grave as well. This was very well written and very meaningful story. I can't wait for the next one. It can only get better.
I love this! If you love book one, this is a must read; but hold up... Prepare yourself. Find a great spot at home or at the beach or maybe at the pool. You get what I'm trying to say. Enjoy,,,,,,,,
