I have enjoyed the Malibu wedding series. Lucas and Meg were just special. Lucas was a rock star who wrote a love song, but was having trouble with the video. His friend referred him to wedding in Malibu, he was sure Meg could help him with designing the video. Meg was a different kinda a girl, she was from old money, prior to working with wedding, she planned Charity events with her mom. Once Lucas and Meg met one look into each other eyes and they were falling in love. Later they convinced Meg to play the role as his soon to be wife in the video. Between all the time they spent together, they fell in love. But the obstacles were to tell each other, each believed that the other didn’t fit in each other life. But Meg grew stronger over time in confidence, stood up to her mother and claimed her man or should I say claimed each other. Video was a success......yay! Good short read.
Perception is everything!
Meg’s work at Married in Malibu is to design the perfect wedding, differently for each couple. As a member of high society she designed perfect fundraiser galas and dinner receptions for the charities her mother was a chairperson for. Her mother does not understand why she wants to work and is constantly trying to run her life. Meg lets it happen, because she really doesn’t have a reason to fight against it, until she has a reason to fight back. Lucas doesn’t like the direction his current music video is going. He turns to his friends, who happen to run Married in Malibu, and suggest Meg to translate her wedding design skills to a romantic music video. Romance and love are easily translated, and as it works out transferable. Meg & Lucas have a love at first sight moment that continues to grow during their music video planning and creating. I always enjoy the sweet romance in Lucy Kevin (aka Bella Andre) stories!
I loved how they fell from the start. Loved how connected they were. From start to finish you could feel they connection between them. Loved this book.
