How did I become the woman I am? That is the question Ginny Shaw is asking herself.


She had lived a selfish life and created loveless relationships with her husband and her son, Edgar. Her adult life began with her betrayal of the man she would marry. From there, her life was a toxic mixture of money, lust, and social ladder climbing.


As a young woman, she had wanted to be married to a loving man, raise a family of children filled with love, and move forward in life. But that is not the path she chose.


Now she is appalled at how she raised her only child, Edgar. She gave up her dreams as a young woman to be wealthy and have high social status. She lived a life of privilege that left her longing for something more.


Now she is alone, divorced, and has nowhere to turn other than to her daughter-in-law, Gloriana. She fears Gloriana, who much prefers to be known as Glory, will turn her away. But she doesn’t know her daughter-in-law to understand who Glory really is. She is living the life Ginny had only dreamed of, filled with love, devotion, and a child on the way. Glory offers her the possibilities of a lifetime.


Can Ginny embrace the changes required of her and become the woman she wanted to be before marrying Edgar's father? Can she trust that love might indeed be the answer? Will helping a young unwed mother through pregnancy open doors to a new life for herself?
