The Murder Party

It was supposed to be a party. Just a game. A night to blow off some steam and do something fun. No one was supposed to get hurt. No one was supposed to really be murdered…right? 

When June Chan's older sister Lily is stabbed to death at a secret party in front of a dozen people, June learns about the exclusive murder mystery club Lily was in, and the themed games that members played.

The police rule Lily’s death an accident caused by a malfunctioning prop knife and close the case. The school warns off all the members—including Lily’s boyfriend and best friends—and shuts Murder Club down.

Everyone seems fine to move on. Accept that life isn’t fair and that Lily’s death was just a tragic accident…everyone but June. Determined to find out more about the Club, its members, and exactly what happened that night, she dives into the personal lives of everyone who witnessed Lily’s death.
