The Mystery of the Hasty Arrow

A murder… an arrow as a weapon… one witness who cannot speak clearly…

It is May 23, 1913, at noon at the New York City museum. In this period, there are too many visitors and they are divided on two floors. The day seems as any other day, until a scream is heard from the second floor. When the director of the museum goes on the floor, he discovers a body of a teenage girl. She is killed with an arrow through her heart. There is an older woman hovering above her, whispering some words that didn’t make sense. When the director asks her, she is not able to give a comprehensible answer. She is the only witness. How can this mystery be solved when there is not one to help? Who could have done this?

The case is in the hands of the detective Ebenezer Gryce of the New York Metropolitan Police Force, who now is an 88-year-old. Will he be able to solve the mystery of the murder?
