In the eBook The Neo-classical Period we bring you into contact with well-known writers in the development of English and American literature. In their work they laid down the new way of thinking that resulted from the previous Renaissance Period. However, like in any other period, there is also a reaction to what preceded it, leading to new developments. In this case we see a gradual development in the direction of the following Romantic Period.

This is the second period of English and American Literature on Demand in which American writing is presented as a new off-shoot on the English Literature tree. We present it as American Connection. 

All books in this series can be studied privately as well as in groups. Anyway, the teacher is in the books.

We have split up the ‘complete book’ into a number of smaller units. In this way we enable you to demand your own writers and their work, so that you can build up your own collection of English and American literature. 

Hopefully you will enjoy this as much as I did composing this series.
