Love this book!
Really great recipe book with amazing ideas!
I wish I could say that I loved Ro’s recipes but I would be lying. I have been watching Nerdy Nummies for a long time and when she said she was coming out with a book, I was so excited. I love to bake, and have always wanted to try her recipes. So I went out and got the book. I love chocolate chip cookies, and saw she had a chocolate chip cookie recipe. I have made a lot of chocolate chip cookie recipes and I’m sorry to say hers was the worst. They were hard and had absolutely no flavor. They weren’t the soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies I was used to making. I was so disappointed. I decided to try the recipe again and I only made one cookie out of the batch so I could try cooking it in my toaster oven on the cookie setting (to see if it made a difference) and it happened again. It was hard and flavorless. I even added more chocolate and it didn’t help. I have always made great cookies, and I know I’m not doing anything wrong. I followed the recipe exactly.
I wanted to try one of her other cookie recipes and again it was not good. I lost hope that her other recipes would be good. I didn’t want to waste ingredients on something that was not going to be good. I truly never wanted to hate this book, I love nerdy nummies. But If these are the recipes she uses in her show, I will never bake them again. I will say this, she is an excellent cake decorator, and that’s what made me watch her show. She has an amazing talent for cake decorating.
The book itself is very nice and has a bunch of Nerdy Nummies in it but I think that the ones on her youtube channel interested me more and I felt that I paid for an expensive cook book when I could've gotten better Nerdy Nummies that fit me for FREE. (I LOVE RO AND NERDY NUMMIES but the book was not for me) Sorry Ro
