The New American Newspeak Dictionary

The dictionary is a modern version of Ambrose Bierce’s Devils Dictionary. We learn from the cover that this book was written to: Allow you to understand Pundits, Newscasters, Newsreaders, Politicians, Bureaucrats, Mandarins, Officials, Your Government, Neo-Cons, and assorted Newspeak Users. It is issued without Prejudice. Newspeak is of course the Orwellian process whereby numerous people can be induced to believe what is patently false. The process is intended to diminish thought, impede intelligent discourse and to stupefy the general population. Something to insult almost everyone is included gratis. Humor and Sarcasm abound as does much information that has by academia been suppressed.
