I’ve watched her from afar for weeks. And she has no idea.

Bleu MacAllister ran from me three months ago. She thought she could disappear from my life. My beloved believed I’d let her go.

Wrong.

Bleu says I won’t find her; she changes like a chameleon. Wrong, again. Some things remain unaltered. She’s still beautiful. Sexy as hell. And I want her more than my next breath.

The circumstances bringing us together have changed. It’s a precarious situation because my bonny lass is a hunted traitor. But I’ll do whatever it takes to keep her safe.

She will be my wife.

I am Sinclair Breckenridge. And I’m coming for her.

Review: The Sin Trilogy #2: The Next Sin

The Next Sin by Georgia Cates is the second book in her new series The Sin trilogy. It picks up where book one, A Necessary Sin, left off. If you have not read book one already then this review will probably contain SPOILERS so consider yourselves warned.

Sin knows all about Bleu's revenge plot. He knows she is former FBI and that his "uncle" is hell bent on destroying her and quite possible him too. He let her leave and escape back to the States but he hasn't stopped doing everything he can to make it possible for her to return.

Bleu is devastated. Her whole life plan was about revenge against the man who murdered her mother and tried to kill her. She has always believed it was Thane Breckenridge. She never planned to fall in love with his son and she never expected to doubt that Thane was the killer. Everything is turning on it's head and her dad is quickly succumbing to his cancer. Her world is in ruins and she doesn't know what to do next.

This book will leave you hanging and impatiently awaiting the release of the final book, One Last Sin.

This was a necessary step for the final sin. The pace was slow and predictable.

It starts off where it ended in the first one. Sin waits for Bleu to return to him. Abram still wants to kill Bleu. A solution to that problem is made. The lifestyle within The Fellowship is learned.
The stories predictable. I'm waiting for the suspense and action to take place. The stories complacent and stagnant. I was not expecting to read about celebrations and fertility clinics. I wanted answers to who killed her mother. The Fellowship does not have much action going on. I was expecting raids and killings.
It took long enough to reach the action. I realize the story needed to be set up with details but I felt they dragged on for far too long. This second second sets the pace for the final book which looks to hold all the suspense and action. I think I will enjoy the final book more.
I know my review will not please many readers, but it is my opinion. It is not necessary for you to state that my review was not helpful because it is my opinion therefore leave it alone.
