Wow! A page turning thriller you won’t put down.
The Mazur twins are between jobs, so they return to their old neighborhood. However, Joule Mazur starts to sense she’s being watched and stalked by something. It reminds her of the night hunters from a few years back (from the book The Hunted - maybe get this and read it first), but this is happening during the daytime. Are the night hunters back? Have they evolved and are now hunting during the day? Or is this something completely different? What follows is a whirlwind of a ride that comes fast and furious. I found myself excited, terrified, anxious, and holding my breath at the same time. AJ Scudiere’s writing puts you in the middle of the terrifying action. I loved it. If you enjoy this type of story, I think you’ll love it too.
