Elisabeth lives with her parents and her sister Louise in Amsterdam Rivierenbuurt during the Second World War. Her best friend is called Armand Luversteijn. During a raid, Elisabeth escaped. The Germans carried her parents and Louise away. Elisabeth hid and survived the war. Her search for Louise begins in Poland and later in Paris. Elisabeth decides to re-start her life. Her new quest is to find Armand. The quest brings her to new insights into her life. Will she ever find Armand again?
