Fabulous
This book does well to capitalize on the importance of setting and theme in the novel. Plus, the character analysis is awesome. I wish it had a bit more focusing on historical context, but this book is still top notch.
superficial and incomplete
The summary of the book is adequate; however, there is really no critique, no questioning of the many parts of Vianne's story that are omitted. There is little discussion of the style of Kristin Hannah's writing. I had hoped to gain additional insight into the book by reading this review. This was not the case. If you read the book, this "review" is a waste of time.
Great book!
I would definitely recommend this book for anyone looking to understand The Nightingale at a deeper level. The author analyzes the two sisters in the book through various details and explanations and does a good job of summarizing the plot.
