Escape to the cosiest little lodge in Iceland for love, log fires and the Northern Lights…
With a shattered heart and her career completely in tatters, Lucy needs to get away from her life in the UK. But, when she takes a job as hotel manager of the Northern Lights Lodge, she doesn’t quite expect to find herself in a land of bubbling hot springs and snowflake-dusted glaciers – and in the company of gorgeous Scottish barman, Alex.
Determined to turn her life around, Lucy sets about making the lodge the number one romantic destination in Iceland – even though romance is the last thing she wants. However, as Alex and Lucy grow closer under the dancing lights of the aurora, Lucy might just learn how to fall in love again…

Customer Reviews
Lovely romance set in Iceland.
I really enjoyed the characters and the unfolding of the romance between Lucy and Alex. I disliked all of the typos!!
Good story, needed better editing
I really enjoy this series. The stories are fun and heart warming. It has been a wonderful stress relief to come home after work and slip into the delightful stories.
This story in particular has amazing descriptions of the beauty and natural wonders of Iceland. The author did an excellent job of painting each scene so that the reader truly feels they are in each location.
I do have to say, that I really wish the proof reader had done a more conscientious job with this book. The editing leaves much to be desired. It breaks the spell created by the author when words are out of place, or misused. Poor punctuation, grammar, and layout cause hiccups in the imagery, in what would otherwise be a delightful read.
Five stars for the author, two stars for the editor.
The Northern Lights Lodge
I started reading this authors books under her other writers name, Jules Wake. Have loved every single one and gave them all a five star rating. This is the first one I couldn’t really feel that way about. I can’t put my finger on why, just couldn’t get into the story or even the characters. Still a decent book.
