Grandma Nut is my new hero!
Grandma is one hip, groovy Nut who jumps up to take care of her family. Not to get too deep about this fun kids' story, but what a great reflection of our busy homes and a positive reminder to take time out to play together. Eric Litwin's stories always come back to some sweet, positive message like that. He is so good at what he does! There are directions to the "disco line dance" at the end of the book that have produced huge fun for my six year olds. I'm going to have to get a copy for my mom as well as my kids. Grandma Nut is my new hero. Illustrator Scott Magoon did a GREAT job with her. -And adding that squirrel throughout, when it's about a family of Nuts. Cracks me up.
