An Apple Books Classic edition.
One of Charles Dickens’ most cherished novels, The Old Curiosity Shop still captures the hearts of readers around the world.
Nell Trent lives above her grandfather’s cluttered London shop, trying futilely to protect him as his gambling problem pushes them into the grasp of the cruel moneylender Quilp. When the pair are eventually forced to flee, their journey reveals stark contrasts in the world: Some people offer refuge to strangers, while others prey on the helpless.
According to legend, American readers crowded New York’s docks awaiting the final part of this beloved serialized novel. Its themes of devotion and resilience remain just as compelling today. A moving blend of compassion and suspense, it endures as a timeless story of steadfast love in the face of hardship.

The Old Curiosity Shop
A very sad tale, but with some very memorable characters, both good and horrendous, and some uniquely Dickensian lines and humor!
The Old Curiosity Shop
Great read although he does get kinda wordy at times.
Dull
I did not like it as much as some of his other works.
