The Omnibus

Sir Arthur Thomas Quiller-Couch (21 November 1863 – 12 May 1944) was a British author, poet, anthologist, and literary critic. He wrote many popular novels and essays and was a noted lecturer at Cambridge University. He was an active worker in politics for the Liberal Party.

The main hero remembered how he was worse off than the boy in the omnibus was. In early childhood, he had lost father and mother. He lived near a garden with different flowers where he used to play.
