New York Times Bestselling author Corinne Michaels brings a new sweet and endearing love story to life with the third STANDALONE in the Arrowood Brothers series.
Devney Maxwell has been my best friend since we were six years old, but she has no idea I’m in love with her.
Even when I’m on the road playing professional baseball, she’s my home—the only one I’ve ever known. But when I return to Sugarloaf to care for the family farm, I discover she’s trying to talk herself into a life with the wrong man … and I become desperate.
It only takes a single, perfect kiss to change everything.
I have six months to get it right with Devney—to convince her to leave this town and turn that kiss into forever.
I aim to do just that as I spend my days coaching her nephew’s baseball team, fixing up the farm, and loving her with all I have. Finally, it seems like our relationship is secure and we’ll find a way to make it work.
Then tragedy strikes ... changing her life forever. She’s needed here more than ever, but as for me—there’s no way I can stay.
I know she’s the one for me, but I might have to let her go ...
Baseball romances aren’t normally my thing, but this one was amazing!
Childhood friends to lovers - something people love, and is shown numerous times in other books and/or movies. A storyline that usually makes for a smile, but this one.... THIS. This was absolutely amazing.
With each new story, I think... will it be as good as the others? Can it grasp my attention as well as the earlier reads? It sure did!
One again, a story that I can’t wait to re-read over again, and see how the rest of the series goes! Kudos.
It was just ok
Enjoyable enough but not as compelling as
conner’s or Declan’s stories. I do enjoy the banter between Arrowwood brothers though. On the fence whether I’ll read the final book.
The One For Me
One of the best books I have ever read. The story is loving and sometimes tearful but always fantastic with a happily ever after. Corinne Michaels has become one of my favorite authors!
