Disappointment
I figured gonna have a lot more to talk about just club life. Not Just a list of clubs, my club is in the book, I don’t appreciate what was written, cause Jus Brothers MC Is way more than that. We are having our 30th anniversary party, that’s saying something. To me it looked like he just went on the internet and pulled all information he need for the book. Derrick Robbins JBMC Stanislaus
Inaccurate on big details
This book claims to be true to the best of the authors knowledge, but they didn't even get in the same ball park on some of the dates they say clubs came into existence.
One club it states began in the early 2000's and that club I know "personally" has been around for over 24 years placing the founding date as early as 1979.
This is one group of people you shouldn't write a book about if you are going to be sloppy. I'm sure the author found it important to be correct on clubs he is personally affiliated with an then felt no need to worry about the others being correct.
Well at least all the SOA wanna be bikers will own a copy of this book an believe its accurate.
Total Crap
I am not in any motorcycle club nor will I ever be. I know people who are clubs members and who are not. After reading the sample of this book, through chapter 1, I deleted it. The first two sections of the book along with the first chapter are CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!
The price is ridiculous as well. I might read read to book, for entertainment purposes, if it was at the most $.99.
