A mixed bag

An interesting but unfortunately terribly slanted accounting of this period. The author is clearly enchanted by the social and aesthetic accomplishments of the Andalusians, but fails by presenting slanted retellings in which the Muslim caliphs are always the beacons of light and the Christians and Jews are the backwards hordes.
