However, once they get over the impressive appearance of the school, they soon realize that the house is divided between the rich girls and “the other girls.” And they belong with “the other girls.” This means that they’re not there to study but to work. This requires long hours in the flower factory with little to eat. After a while, Adele realizes that she and her sisters must find a way out of Bancroft House. However, she’s too young to leave on her own and soon gives up hope.
That is, until Jolene turns up. Jolene is a ghost who was a once a powerful young witch. She offers Adele a solution to her problem—magic. With no other alternative, Adele concedes and soon starts on her path to becoming a witch. But what Adele doesn’t realize is that Jolene is using her to gain power so that she can seek revenge on the person who murdered her.

Excellent, although a little slow moving
The book was well written, but there were typing errors in it.
I didn't give the story five stars because I felt many of the chapters focused to much on Adele and didn't really develop any of the other characters. And Adele's perspective seemed to be incredibly limited to only one emotion which was repeated over and over again.

Interesting plot, but...
...immature composition. The grammatical and spelling errors as well as the overdrawn dialogue were distracting.
