The Outcome

As Florida contends with a man-made toxic blight, two naïve swamp-loving friends dive into its dangerous politics to try to protect its natural resources and wildlife.

Victoria Wallace believes the best way to protect nature is to create sound policies, pass strong laws, and elect more environmentalists into decision-making roles. As she runs for U.S. Congress, she finds that it may take more than gumption to enact change.

Meanwhile, Aya Martinez finds herself tangled in a mystery. Her family's abuse of power was just the surface; she'll have to wade into the murky water of the Everglades to learn more. A threatening stalker, bizarre rich egomaniacs at Kennedy Space Center, spoiled millennials, a corrupt government agent, and heartbreaking deaths seem determined to impede the women's attempts at progress.

Will they discover and stop the powerful and destructive forces before their actions hurt not just Florida but the planet?
