The Outrageous Promise

The Outrageous Promise is a true story of God’s love for those who suffered under communism and how He called people from different cultures to join together to make a difference behind the Iron Curtain. Our story begins with people in campus ministry from Hungary and the USA forging a unique partnership to make an impact for God’s glory.  After waiting, darkness and failure, God opened a door for ministry and led a missionary team down an unusual path that resulted in the blessing of two curriculums being used in public schools in the former communist-atheist nation of Hungary.  Now, sixteen years after the door flung open, thousands of church and mission leaders work together in an abundant harvest.  Over 700,000 students have heard the Gospel in public classrooms through a ministry led by the authors of The Outrageous Promise.
