Over 50 years of an iconic classic! The international bestseller-- a heroic story of friendship and belonging.
No one ever said life was easy. But Ponyboy is pretty sure that he's got things figured out. He knows that he can count on his brothers, Darry and Sodapop. And he knows that he can count on his friends—true friends who would do anything for him, like Johnny and Two-Bit. But not on much else besides trouble with the Socs, a vicious gang of rich kids whose idea of a good time is beating up on “greasers” like Ponyboy. At least he knows what to expect—until the night someone takes things too far.

APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
S.E. Hinton wrote this coming-of-age novel about two rival gangs at her Oklahoma high school when she was a teenager in the '60s, giving this classic an unmistakable air of authenticity. It’s easy to get wrapped up in the action-packed storyline and the fun of hanging out with the Greasers, but Hinton’s likable, damaged main characters really make this story shine. At once exciting, violent, and full of raw emotion, The Outsiders has stood the test of time for good reason.

The Outsiders
I had to read this book for a project in school. I thought that I would be bored out of my mind. But this book is now one of my favorites I can connect to Ponyboy and Johnny. S. E Hinton did an amazing job in this book.
