The Party

‘The Party’ is a humorous (I hope) short story about (fictional) Israeli politics and one character, celebrated actor Shmulie Radsinski, who decides to start a new political party; as if there aren’t enough in that insane little country. Radsinski surrounds himself with a disparate array of associates with a variety of skills, none of which are particularly useful in the creation of a new political force. All Radsinski knows is that his party couldn’t do any worse than those currently in the ruling coalition, or the myriad of squabbling parties in the opposition.
