The Patient in Room Nine Says He's God

I couldn't put this book down! Such profound stories of life and death and the presence of God in real life moments. The author has a vulnerability that gives tremendous weight to the lessons he has learned about true compassion in the modern world. His insights are so compelling that Dr. Profeta has inspired me to pursue a medical degree.

This is quit possibly the best book I've ever read. This book came to me by a complete fluke. I'm SO glad I read it. Boy I would love to just sit and talk to this cool guy! I can only imagine the stories.......AWESOME READ, sad the books over.

I always had an interest in medicine. Never the actual workings but more the amazing physicians The wonderful physcians who devot so much of their life to one occupation. I’m on my third career at age 47. What makes the person tick who attends college, medical school, residency, specialty training, acquire huge loans, then serve humans? Well, Dr. Profeta allowed a keen insight to that person. His narrative, while in short story structure, gave me a clear vision of how he thinks, ticks, feels, and believes in his profession. It touches on emotion, spirit, family, sacrifice, and character. I loved his stories, I will retell them (not as good) in my business and look forward to hopefully never meeting him (sarcasm) but appreciate his ability to clearly help me in understanding the true meaning of helping, loving, caring, and believing in a higher power and appreciating the lives of ER Doctors. AMAZING READ!!!!!
