Absolutely amazing!! Dark, gritty, enemies to lovers story, Gabriel is perfect for Avery in the ways he can challenge her mind but Avery is perfect for Gabriel in the ways she can balance his emotions and thoughts. She tames the fire in him as he lights the fire in her eyes!
The Pawn and The Knight
It really upsets me when the author decides to fool the public and assigns a new title to an old book. It’s like the author is calling us stupid because we don’t remember reading the same story with a different title.
Review for The Knight
The Knight is the second book in the Endgame series and it ends in a cliffhanger. I was prepared to hate Gabriel even more but now we see the human side of him. The story continues where The Pawn left off with mystery, lies and suspense. I look forward to the conclusion of what happens between Gabriel and Avery.
