Customer Reviews
Clearly biased but worth the read
I highly recommend this book for any wanting to deepen their knowledge of American history. Although it becomes clear the author respects and believes in the "benevolent" government to save the masses from their destructive, violent, and greedy ways and their misguided faith in unbridled capitalism, it is a comprehensive and interesting retelling of the on-going struggle, drama and romance between society, politics and business.
