The Persistent Princess

Thea is a nobody orphan. She promises she is. She doesn't know why the Great Leader of Atheronia has decided that she is the long-lost princess and taken her back to the capital. She really isn't the princess. Only, she doesn't think Great Leader would take it very well if she tried to explain that to him. Now she has to contend with a visiting prince and a smooth talking (fake) cousin and assassins and strange magical miracles and council meetings and… well… everything else. This princess thing would probably be a whole lot easier if she knew how to read. Or if she could string a coherent sentence together while under any sort of pressure. Thea's not feeling very optimistic about her chances of survival.

'The Persistent Princess' is the second book in a young adult fantasy trilogy set within a fictional continent. It contains magic, humour, minor LGBTQ+ characters, and romance. While the books in the trilogy are set on the same magical continent, each book follows a different princess and can be read as a standalone.
