Unlikeable
I don’t think I have ever been introduced to a more unlikable character than Kate. A number of the characters were shallow and the logic being spewed was ridiculous and self serving. No Kate you have no rights, nor does your lover have any obligation to tell you things that are none of your business. Kate was selfish, entitled, mean spirited and just overall not a good person. Jayne Ann Krentz didn’t sugar coat it, she gave us Kate, a shrew, and never gave us excuses.

Love her books but this was not a favorite sadly.
It didn’t grab me
I love Jane Ann and I especially love her Amanda Quinn books but this one was a bit boring for me honestly... does not mean u shouldn’t read her other books though! Amanda Quinn books r superb.
