A malignantly-narcissistic con man returns to his childhood home intent upon exacting revenge against his ex-wife for having exposed his perversions. Although she is not all sweetness and innocence herself, her ex-husband's return leads her to realize that she has a strange, fated bond with another man whom she once brutally rejected and defamed for the sake of societal expectations. But, when her ex-husband finds a grotesque artifact that trades power for the blood of gruesome sacrifice, the bonded lovers, and everyone around them, become prey for the deranged ... and their bond is jeopardized.
