The Position... Plus-1

Two female-led fantasies, describing early – and draconian – examples of feminism from times past, open with Ezra Bedford's "The Position".

Read on, as an unjustly disgraced man., recently released from prison, applies in his desperation for the position of a live-in secretary at a London Home… This after reading a most curious advertisement… A reading and an application that will change his life and prove more curious than he thought… And especially when the man he thinks will be employing him turns out to be a woman… A woman with a powerful and female West Indian housekeeper who shares views on the subject of men that are NOT warm and cuddly!

We end with Ms Rachilde's "Manservant", as she describes the fall from grace of an English gentleman in the 1920's… A man utterly out of options after his inheritance has been squandered and his debts overwhelm him… One of those debts being to a vengeful and homicidal underworld figure… Which is when he receives an offer from a solicitor and friend... An offer giving him the "Opportunity" to become the full-time in-house employee to a trio of financially sound and genteel ladies… Ladies with VERY specific "romantic" takes.  

Believable female-led fantasy fiction for those readers with a desire to have a light shone on the more… outré …corners of their imaginations.
