The Possum Man

In North Central Texas there is a lake with the unusual name, "Possum Kingdom". It is a very beautiful lake and manyu fine homes have been built along its shoreline. The unusual name was, according to local lore, bestowed upon the area by a fur trader who called his trappers, "Those boys from Possum Kingdom". But there is another story about how the area got its name, and no one knows it - until now! And we think it is a much more intriguing story.
