Conscious Decisions-being aware of the pros and cons
Action Steps:
-Assist your child with constantly looking for new ways to solve problems.
-Encourage your child to try new things often.
-Invest time coaching your child with understanding the consequences and rewards with each decision.
-Never solve your child’s problems.

2. Unconscious Decisions-unaware of the pros and cons

Action Steps:
-Stop giving your child too many choices (this creates confusion)
-Ask your child incisive questions to bring them closer to awareness
-Coach your child toward question thinking NOT answer thinking
-Allow your child to communicate using proactive questions instead of reactive questions
