The Pradavian Artefacts

A collection of priceless artefacts has been stolen from the Langford Museum. The authorities have no leads. The museum guild, determined to keep the theft from public knowledge, have hired a discrete team of experts to track down the missing artefacts and bring them back before anyone notices that they're missing.
They should have hired Nick instead.
Nicolai Serreford and his crew are not discrete, not really experts, and have no intentions of keeping things quiet. Following a lead provided by 'ex-pirate' Valentine, they're going to steal back the artefacts and become headline news... or at least kill a lot of people trying.

Meanwhile, on the island of Iskar, the dig is on. Renowned archaeological anthropologist Lenora Sweet is heading up the excavation, digging deep into the mysteries of the island's long-dead lost civilisation. But as the fate of the island's native people becomes clearer a disturbing new problem comes to light that has Lenora and her team asking two questions; What really killed the Iskarans? And how has it survived so long on the island without new flesh to fuel it?
