The Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood

Ford Madox Hueffer (later Ford Madox Ford), was the grandson of Ford Madox Brown, a friend to the early Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood members and a painter who followed their style. Hueffer wrote this monograph to address a few points of dispute he had with the comprehensive history of the Pre-Raphaelites authored by PRB member William Holman Hunt and to put forth his own views on his grandfather's place in their history.
