APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Five centuries after its publication, Niccolò Machiavelli’s The Prince is often misunderstood as a dry civics textbook or worse, a manual for evil. A practical guide on how to seize and maintain power, it’s the source of the term “Machiavellian”, meaning cunning or devious. But the book is actually an incredibly fun and relevant read. In short, lively passages, the Florentine diplomat offers straightforward, savvy advice on how to anticipate and manoeuvre through all manner of tough situations. It’s a useful read for anyone looking to navigate office politics or get promoted.

Controversial
It is well known that the prince is very controversial, but I found myself agreeing with Machiavelli and everything he said made sense. I'm only a sophomore in high school, but this translation of the prince was comprehendible. It was well worth the read.
