Surprising plot

4.5-5 Stars!!! This is book number 3 in the ‘Bow Street Bachelors’ series and can be read as a standalone. This book, NO, this series, is awesome! This author is really talented. I’d say this book is a bit of a love/lust-hate/annoy along with being a historical romance with a bit of a mystery!
I loved the main characters, Sebastian/Seb and Anastasia/Anya. He’s the perfect bad boy, good guy, hero. She’s the perfect stubborn, good girl in trouble, can save herself, heroine. There’s a perfect bad guy, mustache and all!
The story was interesting.
The characters were well written.
The banter between Seb and Anya was on point.
And there was a big, shocking surprise that I did NOT see coming! I Highly recommend! I read this book in 1 day, I couldn’t put it down!!! Also- I hope Charlotte gets a novella/short story! I love her!

Not a bad finish
Definitely a unique storyline with different characters. The author did her research and the descriptive details were well fleshed out and the supportive characters were all great. The last 1/4th of the book got beyond silly and ridiculous, but the book is still worth reading.
