It was a fun read
I like the construction of the story line and characters. There are hints of cryptic here and there to keep the story interesting but not overloaded with it. There’s just enough for me to want to continue to read, rather than dying for what’s happening next. I do find the lack of magic disappointing because that’s what I love about fantasy genre. However, I also find it tolerable and not a deal breaker when it comes to this manga. I will definitely be looking forward to the next volume.
I kinda want to consider reading the light novel but when it comes to fantasy, I’d prefer visuals so I can’t say I’d recommend the light novel but if you’re interested, the story is definitely great enough to follow
