A wonderful tale....
A wonderful and enjoyable story; thoroughly enjoyed reading about the area, the time and the people. I was stationed, for a time, in upstate New York around the Lake Champlain area and can easily imagined this story.
Wonderful
If you like stories about ordinary people and their life during the Revolutionary war you’ll love this book. Also learning about a little known naval battle is terrific. The writing is clear and carries smoothly along. Highly recommend.
