The Promise

Cody Carson is an ex-CIA operative. When a mission goes bad, his best friend is killed. As Trip Shumpert lies bleeding out in his arms, Cody accepts the photo of Trip’s wife and child and gives Trip a solemn pledge to care for them. Taking his promise to extremes, Cody decides to marry the beautiful Angela to give her the husband she lost under his command and a father for little Sophie. His attempts to woo Angela are hindered when he gets on the bad side of a local crime boss.
