Times are changing
What an absolutely fantastic story! I was so worried that Lyndi would be left out in the cold when the dust settled, but the author outdid herself with this tale of love and perseverance. I love how there were so many pivotal changes for the Huracan dragons. Each one caused me to hold my breath until the crisis was over while I anxiously continued reading to see what the next turn of the page would bring. This book made me fall in love with this group even more and I can’t wait to see what new dangerous and exciting things the author brings their way next. They might have to hold a continent together, but if they stay strong as a group I just know they will all find the HEA that Levi and Lyndi have found. This book, and it’s wonderful surprises, are a perfect example of why this author is one of my one-click favorites, and I look forward to reading the next story she brings to life.

This is book 4 and I’ve enjoyed each and every book in this series! I love escaping into this dragon shifter world with all the hot complex and engaging characters. I admire and respect Lyndi’s confident, tough, and resilient character although, privately she lives with the burning desire to have a family and a mate of her own only to be cruelly denied the happily ever after because, she is a natural born female dragon who are unable to have children. Levi is a very large natural born protector with a nasty temper that he freely shares with those who dare come close to him. Levi personally blames himself for the kings death although he wasn’t allowed to be with him at the time and he suspected everyone also blamed him too. Major conflict was rising between the clans with several attacks by unknowns causing mounting pressure and the possibility of War! I enjoyed this engaging story with its attention to character and world building details and, the surprising and exciting plot twists. The protagonist have a charming chemistry that includes witty banter, and a steaming white hot romance that will leave a fire trail across your living room floor.
I recommend this book if your in need of a break and are looking for an enjoyable read. I look forward to more stories by this author.
