The Purple Flower

Country boy Edmond is a student at Tuks (University of Pretoria) in South Africa. When a purple flower unobtrusively lands on his head, he decides to go out for the evening believing that he is going to have a blissful time according to the superstition of good luck that is usually connected with such an occurrence. That evening he meets a beautiful British woman who is in South Africa on vacation. There is an immediate and powerful mutual attraction which will leave an unforgettable mark on both of them. Unfortunately an unforeseen incident prevents them from seeing each other again and the two are separated by distance as well as a comedy of errors and misunderstanding. Although living their separate lives in their own countries with their own individual problems, both long to be together again one day, but as the years pass a series of intricate events makes the chances of this ever materialising less and less plausible. Will love at last conquer all and bring them together again one day? Or is there perhaps another twist in this romantic drama?
