Natchez, Mississippi. Jewel of the South. City of old money and older sins. And childhood home of Houston prosecutor Penn Cage.

In the aftermath of a personal tragedy, this is where Penn has returned for solitude. This is where he hopes to find peace. Great read - hard to put down. Keeps your interest right up until the end.

The quiet game

Great story but I’m not impressed with profane woman heroine whose language is disgustingly gross! Too bad. No class at all!

Maybe the greatest book of all time

How is this not a movie ?
Woah this man has talent beyond belief. I thanked the person who turned me on to this series throughout the book. Already planning a trip to take the Greg Isles tour and meet him.
