The Quivering Poplar

In the furthest corner of the forest depths was Zvjezdangrad (Star City). The city was peaceful, quiet, protected from war and pestilence and the evil eye, and that was enough to ensure a happy and contented existence for its citizens. However, it was impossible for one city to experience happiness and well-being while others were less pleasant places to live.
